Along the Way

A Simple Yes Sometimes, looking back along the road we’ve traveled, there is one moment we wish we could experience again - not to change it, but simply to feel it before we knew what was coming. For me, that moment began with a simple “yes” to singing at a Confirmation Mass. I had no idea where that yes would lead. Monday morning on Along the Winding Road Blog. My Journey

Every journey of faith has companions. This photograph was taken during our Parish Mission in 2023. Looking at these faces reminds me that none of us walks the road to Christ alone. God places people in our lives who encourage us, challenge us, welcome us, and quietly reveal His love. Some in this picture are still serving beside me. One, our beloved parish secretary Linda, has since gone home to the Lord. I thank God for each of them and for the countless others who helped make that mission such a grace-filled experience. As I begin sharing more of my own story here, I wanted my first words to be words of gratitude. Good news! Fr. Steve Bell, pictured here, will be returning to lead our next Parish Mission in March 2028! Following Truth Wherever He Leads.

What's Next?

This summer we begin preparing for the new class of truth seekers. OCIA (formerly known as RCIA) are classes that are held to instruct adults who are considering receiving the Sacraments of Initiation. On Wednesday, August 5, 2026, we provided information on how one enrolls in OCIA classes and prepares to be received into Full Communion with the Catholic Church. The information evening answered some questions about the entire process. A recording of the discussion is available upon request. The Adult Faith Formation gatherings will begin early in September. If you, or someone you know is interested in attending the evenings of discussion to learn more about our Catholic faith, you are also welcome. Following Truth Wherever He Leads.
